Nur noch vier Wochen bis zum Snowboard-Event des Jahres: Am 05.12.2009 verwandelt sich das Bergisel Stadion in Innsbruck wieder zum Mekka für alle Snowboardgläubigen. Der zweite Air&Style 2009...

Der Wechsel von der Quarterpipe zum Big Air im Bergisel Stadion hat die Elite der Snowboardszene neugierig gemacht. Die Plätze im Starterfeld waren heiß begehrt und nun stehen die 16 Profis fest, die sich am 05.12.2009 in Innsbruck die Ehre geben. Also sei mit dabei, wenn sich die Creme de la Creme zum Kampf um den Ring of Glory trifft...

Bereits am 05.12.2009 ist es soweit: der Billabong Air & Style 09/II kehrt ins Innsbrucker Bergisel Stadion zurück. Die Disziplin: Straight Jump! Schon in den 90er Jahren war das die traditionelle Disziplin beim Air & Style in Innsbruck. Also sei mit dabei und erlebe das Original!

Billabong will be returning to Snow Park New Zealand this coming August for the Billabong Bro Down. To be held on August 28-29, the Billabong Bro Down presented by SONY is a two-day event combining a 3 Star Swatch TTR (Ticket To Ride) Billabong Big Air contest and a Quarter Pipe Throw Down. In its sixth year and treated as a warm up to the TTR Northern Hemisphere season, the Bro Down attracts a swagger of international stars eager to claim early TTR rating points.  Big names already confirmed for the 2009 event include Antti Autti, Scotty Lago, Jamie Anderson, Risto Matilla and Marius Otterstad. The 2008 junior’s and open event was taken out by talented Canadian rider Sebastien Toutant, but prior to that it has been the local Kiwi riders that have dominated the men’s event.  The women’s contest has been traditionally dominated by TTR champion Jamie Anderson, having won the previous two years. The Quarter-Pipe Throw-down, set to be held on Friday August 28th, will be an open jam format where junior men’s and senior men’s will throw down for serious prizes.  The 2008 event was won by Finnish X-games super star Antti Autti with a buttery smooth 900.  Following the Nixon Throw-down, VonZipper and Bacardi will be holding a Sunset Cocktail hour and Snow Park night riding. The Billabong Bro Down after party on August 29th will feature tunes from a number of NZ’s top DJ’s including Downtown Brown, Sunshine Sound System and P-Money.
